Region's newest Kadima event is BIGGER and BETTER than ever!
About Kamp Kadima: A Note for Parents...
Kamp Kadima is a brand-new program for Southwest Region created to meet the demands of a successful regional Kadima program and of Kadima chapters. The program will take place at Camp Young Judaea in Wimberly, Texas (about 45 minutes outside of Austin), and will run concurrently with the USY Leadership Training Institute (although Kadima and USY programming will be separate).
The program runs Friday through Monday, August 31-September 3. A bus will be available from the Austin airport to the camp on Friday at 4:30pm and will leave the camp Monday, September 3 at 1:00pm (times subject to change based on flight schedules). Chapter advisors will coordinate transportation for all participants. Chapters in Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio will be traveling separately to the camp. Please note that Shabbat arrivals/departures will not be permitted.
The cost for Kamp Kadima is $185. There is a separate charge of $25 for participants taking the bus from the Austin airport to the camp (round trip). For participants in Dallas and Houston chapters (or other chapters driving to the camp), there will be a separate transportation charge based on the chapter. Chapter advisors have applications, which are due into the regional office by Monday, August 13, 2001.
