Dear HaNegev,
        It is with an odd mixture of sadness from the closing year and excitement for your future that I write this letter about applying for Regional or Sub-Regional board candidacy. We have accomplished so much in this short USY year, from chapter presidents’ weekends to sub-regional conventions to IC and more. We have many more exciting events on the HaNegev calendar, but it is now time for you to start applying to run for Regional or Sub-Regional board.
       
        Before you apply, consider the commitment you are making and ask yourself whether or not you will be there for HaNegev all year-round. Be sure to contact the person who is holding the position you are considering to talk about the responsibilities involved in that job. I have done and will continue to do my best to lead HaNegev, and it is vital that I do my best to ensure the future of our region will bright as well.
