Simple Brisket Serves 4 to 6

1 3 lb flat brisket 1 pkg dry onion soup 1 small bottle ketchup

Trim excess fat from brisket

Combine onion soup and ketchup

Coat brisket with mixture

Wrap brisket tightly in heavy aluminum foil or place in tightly covered pan.

Bake at 300 degrees for at least 1 hour or until tender

Note: When slicing brisket, slice against the grain.
