The month of May: May flowers, Mother’s Day, Consecration, and the last day of Sunday School. It is hard to believe the year is coming to a close and we will soon be saying goodbye for the summer only to return in September to hear of all the fun summer adventures, trips, and milestones.

The consecration ceremony will occur at United Hebrew School on Wednesday
and our teachers will be recognized on May 18

Any congregant and ALL family members are invited to join us for the final day and end of the year celebration. Come and hear what the students have been studying and wish them a great summer.
Please call the Temple office by May 14 and tell Carol how many in your party will be joining us for brunch so the Men’s Club and Women’s League can prepare enough food.
I wish to thank my wonderful teaching staff once again for a fantastic year; their flexibility, dedication and commitment to our children are appreciated all throughout the year. Our teachers are Holli Broom, Cheryl Dronzek, Carol Jason, Robin Hutchinson, Karen Shepherd, and Carol Zook. We were also fortunate to have Becky Roberts and Nina Cohen from United Hebrew School guiding our students all year and participating in Temple Emanuel special programs. They really have become part of our Sunday School Family. Rabbi Jacob also needs a thank you for his time with the 7th grade students and visiting all of the classrooms on a weekly basis. He also felt strongly about connecting with the children and ensuring they knew he was approachable and here for them. Laughter was usually heard when he was in a room and the students benefited from his time and teaching.
I also wish to thank the many wonderful parents throughout the year who have assisted with Tzedakah projects, delivering special treats to assisted living homes, helping with Chanukah programs, Purim Carnivals and whatever else was needed along the way.
I hope each of you fulfills
some dreams this summer and I will see you in September as we welcome
the new year and a new beginning.
B’Shalom,
Jenefer D. Snyder
