ORANGE COUNTY JCC FESTIVAL OF BOOKS
A HARVEST OF GREAT READING
NOVEMBER 3-18
The JCC of Orange County once again hosts many of the finest authors of
today. Featured authors come to us to speak of their newest books on such
topics as the Holocaust, Kevin Black's "IBM and the Holocaust";
Muslim/Christian/Jewish values as they relate to solving what armies and
diplomats have not yet solved, Yossi Klein Halevi's "At the Entrance to the
Garden of Eden"; wedding planning, Cynthia Muchnick's "The Ultimate Wedding
Idea Book"; Yiddish folklore and history, Madeline (Rosten) Lee's "The New
Joys of Yiddish"; and so on. Workshops on writing one's own memoirs, cooking
demonstrations, youth issues and the like will all be presented for us.
In addition, browse and shop at the largest JEWISH BOOKSTORE ever to be
assembled here in Orange County. Books by Jews and about Jewish topics will
all be available for your holiday shopping.
Come join the JCC and Jewish community in attending all or some of its many
wonderful author events.
Call the JCC at 714-755-0340 NOW for schedule and
ticket information.
