WOMEN'S LEAGUE FOR CONSERVATIVE JUDAISM Congregation B'nail Israel's Women'ts League is a member of the Pacific Southwest Branch of the National Women's League. We have adopted the title of Women's League rather than Sisterhood. Women's League is an autonomous organization of women's groups affiliated with the Conservative Movement whose goal is the perpetuation of traditional Judaism in the home, the synagogue and the community. Since its founding in 1918, it has grown to over 700 Sisterhoods with a membership of some 130,000 women, organized into 25 branches.
