Scroll of Generations
Beth El’s
Planned Giving Committee is responsible for creating a solid financial
base for future generations at Beth El. To this end, Beth El has
become a member agency of the Jewish Community Foundation, making us
eligible for the benefits of the Leave a Legacy program, which has been
promoting future giving to charitable organizations of one’s
choice.
Each member is encouraged to consider a future gift to Beth El.
No current outlay of funds is required – only a commitment to
make Beth El a beneficiary in one’s ultimate plans. This is
a painless way of supporting the synagogue, which for many of us, has
supported us throughout our lives, in sad times and simchas.
Gifts can be designated to either Beth El’s account at the Jewish
Community Foundation or directly to Beth El’s Endowment
Fund. Options include: bequests, insurance policies with Beth El
designated as the beneficiary, gifts of stock or property and a
selection of trusts. The “Scroll of Generations” form
is available both from the Beth El office and online here. The form
can be returned via e-mail to annp2@cox.net
Families or individuals committing to a future gift will be listed on
Beth El’s “Scroll of Generations,” a beautiful
artistic plaque presented to the congregation at the Annual Meeting on
May 8, 2005. The plaque will be placed in Beth El’s lobby.
Questions can be directed to Ann
Polunsky at Beth El (602-997-0227) or to Stuart Turgel at the
Jewish Community Foundation (480-699-1717).
