Judaism 101 Rabbi Lipschultz will again begin the Introduction to Judaism class in starting October 11, 2007 on Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30pm. and will continue every Thursday (except for holidays). You will learn the basic foundations of Judaism from history to the religious experience. This class is wonderful for Jews who want to learn more about the what, where, when, and why of Judaism. It is also a required class for anyone wishing to convert to Judaism. This class is free for members, $250 or $5 per class for non-members who are not converting, and $500 for non-members who are converting. Come to the first class to register. Adult Basic hebrew and Ulpan (Conversational Hebrew Classes) A 5 part class beginning Wednesday, October 17 at 6:30pm and continuing every Wednesday for the next month. Basic Hebrew will be taught by Amira Sample and Ulpan will be taught by Yael. There will also be a Basic Hebrew class taught beginning Tuesday, October 9th at 10:00 - 11:00 am taught by Judy Goren. Call the office for pricing. No previous knowledge of Hebrew is needed for the Basic Hebrew class.
