I
know I have not spoken about the AJ Heschel society in detail, however I
think you know the basics, but in case you don't here is the jist of
it: the Heschel society is a society designed to encourage
USYers to study Judaism at a deeper level than we would normally
study in USY--benefits include: after-curfew "Heschel Sessions",
a Heschel Convention (one for just our region and one for international
USY Heschel members only) as well as special mailings and a newsletter
titled Bo'er B'aesh.
Joining
the Heschel Society would basically be the best decision ever!
I
have included a few links below. The first one is a link to the main USY
website which includes information about the AJ Heschel Society. The
second link is to a small list of standards that you must have in order to
be eligible for membership. Lastly, the third link is to another webpage
that has the application link on it and the address to send the
application to. Its as simple as that! Here ya go:
I
hope that was pretty straight forward. If there are any questions or
concerns, you know how to contact me.
B'ahava
Oov'shalom,
Reena
