Ki Teitzei

Fri, 1 Sep 2006

This week we read from the torah the parasha titled: KI TEITZEI. The parasha speaks of many laws and instructions (out of the 613, it mentions about 43 of them), as well it discusses inheritence of the firstborn, the consequences of disobeying parents, and the remembering of the group of Amalek (the Amalek attacked the Jews when they were at their weakest). In full the parasha is trying to establish an orderly society (set by Moshe)
