ISRAEL UPDATE #2
January 31, 2006
ANNA'S IN ISRAEL!!

Hello all!

So it's my second day in Israel and i'm already in love.  Being here has recindled my love for this land! Even though I have really only seen my campus and the supermarket a block away, it is still so amazing to be here, engulfed in this amazing culture.

My roomates are nice (i know you all care).  One is from LA and the other is from Massachusets.  I really like them, which is nice becuase some of my other friends HATE their roommates.

We have really not stopped going, at all! We have had no down time, and today we had to write a 2 page paper and read 35 pages of a book in 1.5 hours.  No one finished in time.  It is now 12:15 am, and people are still working on it.  It was great fun, of course I finished 30 minutes ago.

Traveling was exciting, my bags got lost and I still don't have them.  Helen (my sister, for those who don't know, is living here this year) brought me over some clothing, which was AMAZING.  It felt so nice to put some clean pants on.  Of course, Gabi got her stuff today and Micheal got the important stuff so I am the only one with NOTHING.  I have and extra pair of underwear, my toothbrush, music, and thats about it.  It is really quite fun,  I know you wish you were me.

I have to pack becuase tomorrow we are going on a tiul (its you're hebrew word for the week, it means trip, and in this case, a overnight day trip) to the Bedowin Tents.  I am very excied.

My phone number is 011-972-52-552-4689, i expect many calls!

 -Anna
