DIRECTIONS:
From the North Shore (Shoreham/Rocky
Point):
Take Route 25A east, 4.8 miles past the William Floyd Parkway (Route 46).
Bear left at the light, at the end of Route 25A. This becomes Route 25.
Continue east on Route 25. After the second traffic light, stay in the
left lane. Follow the signs to Route 58, Greenport-Orient. Continue on
Route 58 for about 3 miles. At the traffic circle, continue on Route 58.
Make a right at the next light, Ostrander Avenue (at the Hess Station).
Temple Israel is at the second stop sign.
From the west (Coram to Manorville):
Take the Long Island Expressway to exit 73. Continue on Route 58 for about
3 miles. At the traffic circle, continue on Route 58. Make a right at
the next light, Ostrander Avenue (at the Hess Station). Temple Israel
is at the second stop sign.
From the southwest (Shirley/Moriches):
Take the Sunrise Hwy. east to exit 61, Rt.51, toward Riverhead. Take Rt.
51 7 miles to end. Turn right on Rt. 24 (east). Exit traffic circle toward
Main Street (almost completely around the circle). Turn right at Main
St, and make the next left at Roanoke Ave. Proceed on Roanoke Ave.
for 3 blocks, cross RR tracks, and turn right (east) on Northville
Tpk. Proceed to Temple 3 blocks on the right
From the North Fork (Aquebogue
to Greenport):
Rt. 58 west to Ostrander Ave. in Riverhead. Turn left (south) on Ostrander
about ¾ mile to Northville Tpk. Temple is on the corner of Ostrander
and Northville Tpk.
From the South Fork (Hampton Bays to Montauk):
Take the Sunrise Hwy. west to exit 65, Rt. 24. Continue on Rt. 24, 7 miles
to Riverhead. At the traffic circle take the first right. Go 1 block to
Main St. Turn right at Main St, and make the next left at Roanoke Ave. Proceed
on Roanoke Ave. for 3 blocks, cross RR tracks, and turn right (east)
on Northville Tpk. Proceed to Temple 3 blocks on the right.
From the South Fork (Remsenberg to East
Quogue):
From Sunrise
Highway (Route 27), take exit 63 North or 64 North to Route 104 North.
Stay on 104 until the traffic circle in Riverhead. Take the second right
off the traffic circle. Go 1 block to Main St. Turn right at Main St,
and
make an immediate left at Roanoke Ave. Proceed on Roanoke Ave. for
3 blocks, cross RR tracks,and turn right on Northville Tpk. Proceed to
Temple 3 blocks on the right.
