Chocolate Seder	a traditional Passover Seder but using all chocolate Program Goals: have an alternative seder before Pesach for all Jewish students at Michigan State University, with a focus on the more spiritual aspects of Pesach and eat lots of chocolate.
Fondue and Tub'shvat Party	This was our Spring semester opening program. It was an opportunity to welcome everyone back to campus, introduce KOACH, and celebrate Tu’bshvat. We had both cheese and chocolate fondues as well as a birthday cake for the trees. We used table tents with facts about Tu’bshvat to add a little bit of a learning element to the program. We basically just let people dig in and have a good time and the program was such a big success that we ran out of food.

Iron Chef Matzah Ball	This annual event has become a Passover tradition at UD! This event is held during Passover (when there are already a lot more people attending Hillel where the event is held). We recruit different people (students, faculty, staff, etc.) to cook and judge the matzah balls. This year our chef’s included the KOACH intern, 2 Hillel professionals, a frat boy, and one of Hillel’s cutest couples. Judges were the Dean of the business school, the AEPi president, a sorority president (and first time matzah ball eater) and the child of one of the professors. We provided all the ingredients and soup and the participants created their own unique matzah balls. Over the years we have had mushroom matzah balls, banana matzah balls, parsley matzah balls, and many variations on the traditional. The judges are given a set of criteria to judge on and they choose the best matzah ball. While judging takes place, everyone gets to try all the different matzah balls. While people were eating, we gave a presentation about Passover and explained what matzah balls were! At the end, the winner was announced and a certificate of excellence was awarded!
Lag B'Omer Festival	Have a picnic, games, fire and study outside to celebrate this Holiday.
Latke Open House	An informal Hanukah party with crazy latkes!
Passover Fondue	Dip Matzah, macaroons, bananas, strawberries, and pineapple into kosher for Passover melted chocolate
Sushi in the Sukkah	This program fuses sushi making and learning about the holiday of Sukkot in one. It has a catchy name too.
Sushi in the Sukkah	celebrating Sukkot with eating kosher, vegetarian sushi in the Sukkah and having a short program using a Dr. Seuss style poem.
Tu B'Shvat Seder	Using classic Jewish texts as well as some more contemporary poems and articles, KOACH and YAVNEH OLAMI (the Orthodox group on campus) put together a joint seder for this holiday. We went through the traditional brachot for the foods we were eating and had some interesting discussions.
