KOACH Kallah 2005

KOACH, the college program of The United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, invites you to the Fifteenth Annual KOACH Kallah:

Feb. 24-27, 2005
University of Toronto

• Students from campuses throughout North America will come together for a weekend of learning, sharing and friendship.
• Rabbis Neil Gillman and Joel Roth, of The Jewish Theological Seminary, will be our scholars-in-residence.
• Community service projects, an update on Israeli current events and a taste of Toronto will round out the program.
• There will be time to meet in small groups and network with students from across the continent.

Accommodations and Registration

Accommodations will be provided at the Quality Hotel Midtown, a short walk from University of Toronto Hillel and the U of T campus. There will be three to four people in each room (sharing double beds) and meals are included. The cost for the Kallah (not including transportation) is only $185. Limited scholarships are available (the Kallah is already heavily subsidized) and we encourage you to contact the rabbi from your home congregation and your Hillel Foundation for funds as well.

ATTENTION: Canadian Students

Thanks to the generosity of Hillel of Toronto and the Ontario Region of The United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, the registration fee for the first 40 Canadian registrants is $90 CDN. Participants will pay the American dollar equivalent, based on the exchange rate on the day of registration. Additional subsidies may be available from your home rabbi -- please check!!

Registration has been extended, but there are just a few slots available, so register today.  Upon receipt of your application and deposit, additional details will be sent to you. Should you need to cancel your Kallah reservation, please note that refunds will only be available until February 11, 2005.

Plan to arrive in Toronto by 5:00 PM on Thursday, February 24. The Kallah will conclude at 1:00 PM on Sunday, February 27.
