The
Rabbi Myron S. Geller/Fuchsberg Center We find it very meaningful and satisfying helping to connect Jews from the Diaspora with Israel through hands on involvement. Many groups and individuals visit us at the United Synagogue Fuchsberg Jerusalem Center. They don't just bring with them good spirits, but also dental supplies, glasses, school supplies, toys, clothes, shoes, toiletries, books and even wedding dresses! These donations are passed onto the many organizations we work with in the Jerusalem area, and are received with great appreciation. It is a pleasure to see how one of our offices turned into a "warehouse" of items waiting to be delivered to the needy. Many participated in voluntary projects while in Israel: packing boxes for soldiers, working with the elderly and handicapped, picking fruit for the needy and helping in soup kitchens. We are always looking for more individuals and groups to bring donations and join our volunteer projects in Israel. Please make us your "Hesed" project in Israel.
