available to support Congregational Schools
Did you know that the USCJ’s Department of Education has consultants
available to assist congregational religious and nursery schools with
curriculum, training and placement issues? Serene Victor (Synagogue Education),
Wendy Light (Framework for Excellence and Placement) and Maxine Handelman
(Early Childhood) can assist congregations with a variety of complex
educational issues. For more information on how your synagogue can access
their expertise and resources please contact the Regional Office.

USCJ Launches Pilot Program to Engage
Innovative Young Adult Davening Communities
The United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism (USCJ) recognizes
that it must be a dynamic and not a static Movement. To that end,
this initiative reaches out to engage Jewishly committed young
adults.
The goal of this project is to build on the growing movement of

Israel Publication Debuts
We
are very excited to present to you the United
Synagogue of Conservative Judaism's edition of Today's Israel.
This interactive digital magazine, at http://www.todaysisrael.com,
is an initiative of the United Synagogue's Israel Commission. It
focuses on Israelis' daily lives and also tells you what's happening
within the United Synagogue in Israel.
Please
take the time to go through the magazine. Each page has comment
link. Click it and you will be able to post your thoughts and
suggestions on what you have just read. If you have any suggestions
for future stories, if you are interested in writing for Today’s
