Petition Israel’s Prime Minister About Ethiopian Jews

 

In Ethiopia, our executive vice president, Rabbi Jerome Epstein, was appalled by the conditions in which many would-be emigrants to Israel were living and called upon the Israeli government and the American Jewish community to resume aid. United Synagogue’s board of trustees has passed a resolution calling on Israel to consider the cases of each of the 8,700 Ethiopian Jews who wish to make aliyah. Join us in signing a petition to Israel’s prime minister requesting that the Ethiopian Jews now in Gondar be allowed to come to Israel.

The Resource Kit should be located in C:/Empire Region Synagogue Resource Kit

 

 

Note: This is a large file (approximately 611 MB).

On most high-speed connections, the download should take less than ninety minutes.

 

Congregations have received copies of the Resource Kit on CD-ROM,

but you can also request that copies be sent to your synagogue by emailing our Executive Director at goldberg@uscj.org.
