Tikun Olam
1. In the beginning of the year, decide on a goal for your chapter. It should include a total amount and ideas for your chapters SA/TO programming.
2. Make it a habit to have a cup/box passed around at functions for T.O. money.
3. Sign up as many people as you can for the 613 Mitzvah Club.
4. Have fundraising programs in the fall, winter and spring. A Phone-a-thon will bring in a lot of money.
5. Send in your money as you collect it. Checks, payable to Tikun Olam, can be sent to the regional office.
6. You will receive an acknowledgement from the international USY office thanking you for your efforts. Try to allocate the 40% of the funds you raised as often as you can.
7. Mazel Tov! At the end of the year, your chapter will have done a lot towards raising tzedakah and building a better world!!
