Dear USY and Kadima Friends, Family & Parents,

Shalom! We are very excited to announce a great way to support Hanefesh Region USY and Kadima!

With financial constraints becoming more evident, prices for programs continue to rise and our regional scholarship funds are becoming depleted, we knew we had to do something to ensure that there are scholarships available to those that need them and funds available to off-set rising programming fees.

The Youth Commission will be launching a variety of fundraisers now and in the future months. We are VERY excited to be working with Edible Arrangements for a second year to offer Kosher for Passover fruit arrangements! Proceeds from this will go to our Youth Department Scholarship Fund for Scholarships and to off-set the costs of future Regional programs which will allow more USYers and Kadimaniks to attend Regional events!

The Avon, West Hartford, and Manchester stores are very proud and excited to announce they will be offering Kosher L’Pesach fruit arrangements and pareve Kosher L’Pesach chocolate dipped fruits. Hanefesh USY/Kadima will receive a percentage of sales! Check out the form below or pictures on the other side for all of the details and place your orders by March 22, 2010! Special thanks to the Borodkin and Wayne families who are the owners of these Edible Arrangements and past USY families!

Hanefesh, the Connecticut and Western Massachusetts region of the United Synagogue Youth, under the leadership of President Max Beede and Director Marcus Fink, offers high school students the opportunity that will last a lifetime. Regionally, USYers enjoy and grow religiously through our numerous conventions, week-long summer encampment, dances, and special programs.
