- Fill in the boxes with the following information:
- Host: uscj.org
- Host Type: WARFTPD [or Automatic Detect]
- User ID: your login from USCJ
- Password: your password from USCJ
- On the Advanced tab, check the box for Passive Transfers
- Transfer the file(s) from your computer (local directory) to the remote directory on the server.
- Select ascii (for HTML files) or binary (for image files) from the buttons at the bottom.
- Click on the file name to be uploaded, then click the arrow pointing to the right.
- Until you press the REFRESH button on the right side, you will not see the file name appear on the list in the remote directory.
- Exit WS-FTP.
You now can test your web page. Start your favorite web browser and open the URL for your web page to see what it looks like live.
