Biography: Rabbi Damsky is the rabbi of West Suburban Temple Har Zion in River Forest, IL. She served formerly at Congregation Or Chadash in Scottsdale, AZ. Rabbi Damsky was ordained by the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies in 2006 and earned her Masters of education in 1996 from the Jewish Theological Seminary. She has many years background in formal education, as principal of the Harry Elkin Midrasha Community High School in Providence, RI, and teaching children through adults around the country. She has also worked at several Ramah camps around the country, including piloting a Ramah Day Camp in Marin, CA. Rabbi Damsky's background includes a BFA in dance and many years working as a Medical Massage Therapist. She is interested in issues related to health and well being on the physical, emotional and spiritual levels, and works with individuals and communities toward this end. She is the co-author of
