SULAM: Leadership Training for Vice Presidents and New Presidents
Sulam has trained more than 932 congregational presidents in just 16 years. We are proud to offer two locations for synagogue leaders who have recently been elected president or vice president who plan to serve as president within the next one or two years. In the Torah we are told that Jacob dreamed of a sulam - a ladder. Today, the challenge of the sulam represents an opportunity. With faith in God, dedication to Torah study, mitzvah observance, and the synagogue, we are encouraging the development of new synagogue leadership. Ensure the continuity of Conservative Judaism in your synagogue by sending your leaders to Sulam this year. Call Rabbi Moshe Edelman at 646 519-9290 or email him at edelman@uscj.org.
