Project H.O.O.D. Launches "Walk Across America to End Violence" on June 5
The United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism (USCJ), through Operation Tent of Abraham and Sarah, is demonstrating its support for Pastor Corey Brooks and the Walk Across America to End Violence by offering hospitality and a pulpit from which to preach as he makes his way across the country. With nearly 650 congregations nationwide that serve 200,000 households and represent 1 million people, USCJ will encourage Conservative Jews to join the march, including teens from the United Synagogue Youth on Wheels summer program.
The inaugural kehilla participating in Operation Tent of Abraham and Sarah was Ahavas Sholom in Newark, NJ - Pastor Brooks made a video about their stay there.
