About the Department of Information Technology
The Department of Information Technology (IT) was created to meet the
information systems and personal computing needs of the organization
but soon expanded to provide web hosting services to our
affiliated synagogues. In addition to the many internal IT services the
department provides, which assist our congregations indirectly, it has
also focused on providing effective direct service to the synagogue via
USCJ On-line Services Initiative
Its sophisticated intranet website includes pertinent organizational
information which can be viewed, downloaded and/or exchanged between the
Central Office (Rapaport House), District offices, and participating
Synagogue/School offices. Additionally, the Department offers free web hosting for affiliated synagogues and schools to create their own websites or utilize a pre-installed template based site that is also available at no cost.

The Department can also offer guidance and act as a liaison to the
congregational leadership and/or a computer consultant acting on behalf
of the individual congregation in the area of purchasing hardware and
software. Contact Martin S. Kunoff, Director of the Department of Information Technology, at the USCJ office at (212) 533-7800 ext. 1134 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
