KOACH Campus Enrichment Grants In 2011-12, fourteen campuses benefited from grants of one thousand dollars each to advance Conservative Jewish life on campus. Through the grant program, campuses built their connection with KOACH and the larger Conservative Movement as they grew their campus communities to the next level. We now invite proposals for the 2012-2013 Campus Enrichment Grants. Please e-mail proposals to koach@uscj.org. Application deadline extended! Designed to bring significant value-added to campus, these $1000 grants are not intended to pay existing costs or to cover participation by students or campuses in international KOACH programming. Each campus will be free to design the use of the funds as they see fit and this should be explicitly articulated in a one page proposal accompanied by a detailed budget. Possibilities might include: funding/subsidizing Shabbat meals for the Conservative community; bringing in a rabbinical student for Shabbat (excluding the KOACH Shabbat program); acquisition of a Conservative library; an offsite retreat for the Conservative community; an ongoing meal-based learning program (e.g. Lunch and Learn). These should be viewed as a springboard for ideas, rather than a set of requirements. Proposals which offer a comprehensive year plan will be looked upon favorably. Note that campuses applying for a KOACH Campus Intern are not eligible for Campus Enrichment Grant funds. Campuses must fulfill the following expectations in order to receive the grant reimbursement at the conclusion of the academic year:
