Purim is celebrated on the 14th of Adar. Based on the Book of Esther, the festival of Purim is a celebration of the Jewish people's triumph over hatred and adversity. To participate in this festival, we are commanded to eat, drink and be merry.and do not forget to rattle your grager when you hear the evil Haman's name recited from Megillat Esther - Book of Esther.
