Keruv/Edud Initiative

Recognizing the need to welcome intermarried families into our Jewish community, reaching out with warmth, passion, and compassion, hoping for the eventual conversion of the non-Jewish spouse, we present our new Edud Initiative.

In the summer of 2009, the Leadership Council of Conservative Judaism put out a brochure about keruv and a list of tools for building a culture of keruv.

The 16 groups that made up the Leadership Council of Conservative Judaism worked together for a statement of principles about keruv.
